Day 20: Tokyo

Today we checked out of our motel and went on a half day tour of Tokyo.

We saw shrines and palaces and temples and gardens.



The old Olympic stadium, soon to be demolished so they can build a new Olympic stadium

The shrine was surrounded by a planted forest of over 365 species of tree from around the world

Then we grabbed some freshness burger for lunch and got on the train to the airport. Hooray we're going home. Our feet are sore, our clothes are dirty and it will be good to sleep in our own bed again - together.
